چکیده

Introduction: Various inflammatory markers and laboratory parameters were identified as the predictors of severity mortality in COVID -19 infection. However, progression their gender difference COVID-19 deaths has not been extensively studied. The study aim was to analyze markers, neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet (PLR) deaths, analyzed correlation between NLR, PLR markers. Materials methods: A retrospective observational based on records done 104 patients who died due In addition baseline investigations, NLR (Neutrophil Lymphocyte ratio), (Platelet Ratio), ferritin, D-dimer CRP (C reactive protein) collected for all day one, three five. Results: Out patients, 68 males 36 females. Mean 5.7, 7.3 & 7.5 five respectively. 145.9, 166.6 173.7 37.6mg/l, 51mg/l 57.2mg/l, mean ferritin 780.9ng/ml, 852.5ng/ml &1033ng/ml 2373ng/ml, 3149ng/ml 3686ng/ml There a strong positive with (0.598), (0.663) (0.53) one five, but only weakly observed three. negative No significant noted Conclusion: this cohort there progressive increase Serial measurements help early identifications may deteriorate. Progression could be used surrogate marker prioritise treatment resource limited settings.

Background: The present study aimed to compare the complete blood count (CBC) indices between COVID-19 patients and the control group, and assess the relationship of these indices with COVID-19 prognosis given the role of complete blood counts in the COVID-19 prognosis. Methods: COVID-19 patients (confirmed by PCR or CT-Scan) who visited Imam Hospital in Sari were selected in this case-control...

Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-lymphocyte ratio in evaluation of the development of polycystic kidney disease

Background: It is well known that the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are available markers of systemic inflammation, and increased inflammation is along with progress of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The inflammation is risk factors for increased morbidity and mortality in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). Therefore, we evaluate the ass...

Analysis of the albumin level, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio, and platelet-lymphocyte ratio in Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the prognostic value of the pretreatment and post-treatment albumin level, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in subtypes of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). A retrospective analysis of 62 patients with GBS treated between 2011 and 2015 in Dicle University Hospital, Turkey, was carried out. The pretreatment and post-...

The aim of this study is to investigate the diagnostic efficacy of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), neutrophil-to-monocyte ratio (NMR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in patients with Crohn's disease (CD) and non-CD controls. These ratios were all derived from complete blood counts. Two hundred and six participants including CD inpatients and non...
